My 1 year old Malinois spent 3 weeks with Will and Taylor at Ridgeside K9 and they did a fantastic job! She was very reactive before when in crowds or around other dogs. After getting her back, her focus is tremendously better and I now have control when going out in public! I’m so happy to be able to take her everywhere with me comfortably and confidently! Scott took our very wild Lab puppy and in 2 weeks time turned him into a STAR. Y’all, I seriously cannot speak more highly of this team. We received high quality pictures and videos of our dog’s daily routine. Our puppy came home, and I am floored. He still has his fun, puppy demeanor but he knows how to listen. There was the most seamless transition from Ridgeside K-9 to home because Scott same and spent time with us ensuring that we knew how to continue with what he had been taught. If you want your dog to be the dog that everyone in the neighborhood is jealous of, get Scott to train them. I would pay triple what we paid to have this puppy this well mannered. Whatever we needed help with, Scott fixed it. We are SO thankful for this team and for finding them when we did. Run, do not walk, to schedule training with them.read more

We recently completed puppy training with Ridgeside K9 for my baby girl Oakley and wanted to share our experience with them. The reason we went to Ridgeside K9 was because other family members took their dogs there and had a wonderful experience. We reached out to Aaron to inquire about the new puppy training program Ridgeside implemented. Upon discussions with Aaron about the new puppy program we made the decision to move forward. Aaron put us in touch with the trainer, Nicole, who immediately reached out to me. Nicole was amazing; she was extremely patient going through all our questions about training and the program and made the decision to select the date and move forward. Upon arrival to Nicole’s home, there was an instant connection and warmth to her that put our mind at ease knowing our puppy was going to be integrated and exposed to other dogs, big and little, as well as kids. Nicole was great about connecting with me daily to provide an update on progress and sent me great pictures and videos. At the completion of the training, Nicole spent a great amount of time providing us training so we could continue the training regime as the success for a great puppy/dog is “reps, reps, reps and more reps”. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ridgeside K9 and Nicole, I would highly recommend them if you have a puppy or older dog as I have seen firsthand the results of their training. I am so glad and blessed to be part of the Ridgeside K9 family and know we will truly be connecting for many years. There are not enough words to express how I feel about Ridgeside K9. Dexter left a struggling puppy with his nose everywhere and zero focus. He barked at every little thing and had no form of discipline. Aaron and his team changed all of that. Dexter came home a new pup. From listening to when he's told to stay near to staying calm and not freaking out when another dog is near. I feel that Dexter is much safer. Nothing changed about his playfulness. He still catches balls, loves walks, treats and will cuddle us all night long. He never lost his personality. He did however gain so much great behavior. In a few months, Dexter will be testing out for his CGC and we couldn't thank Aaron and his team for all their help enough. Before our trainer left, he looked back at us and said, "Welcome to the Ridgeside K9 Family." This is family. They took care of Dexter like any family member would.read more

Ridgeside K9, LLC , trainer Aaron Taylor, did wonders for my Shepherd. She left here a mess. Aggressive towards other dogs, pulling on the leash, barking in the house at the slightest sound or seeing a dog out the window. She was timid in crowds of people. Bottom line, I could not take her anywhere with me. After 3 weeks of training, she is a well-trained dog. Her personality is the same and I love it. We just got back from a walk where there were other dogs with people and even bike riders which she used to try and chase. Rosie did not move from my side. She stayed controlled. Never did I imagine that she could be this dog. Now I take her everywhere I can that is dog friendly and love to show off her new behaviors. I can't thank Ridgeside K9 and Aaron Taylor enough.read more

I'm so happy I found Ridgeside and I'm now part of the family. My husband and I got our boxer puppy in July and wanted to make sure she got proper training. I spoke to Aaron and he got me in touch with their puppy trainer Nicole. Nicole and I spoke the following night and I dropped my puppy off a few days later for a week. I received pictures, videos, text messages and phone calls almost every day. I was so happy to know my puppy was in a loving home and loved by someone who's a huge animal lover. It's been a month and we did our hand off today. Nicole gave us tips and tricks. She helped us train the puppy to make sure we are comfortable. I was anxious at first, but with Nicole's instructions, I feel confident in my ability to continue the training. Nicole is the real deal. She's the puppy whisperer and she's now family to me. I can't wait to drop my puppy off with her again for boarding in December with off leash training in January. Thank you, Nicole and Ridgeside for everything.read more
